Slovenia’s gastronomy journey

The Slovenian Tourist Board has declared the full month of November as a month to celebrate the country’s food scene in the capital Ljubljana.

The country is one of Europe’s gastronomic hotbed, offering the Tastes of Ljubljana, the Open Kitchen food market and numerous quality restaurants, cafés and bars. This year Ljubljana hotels and organisers of culinary tours and grape tastings have joined their powers under an initiative of Ljubljana Tourism: Novemmmber Gourmmmet will present grape routes, food and grape fairs and special culinary tours – Novemmmber Gourmmmet in Ljubljana.

The Ljubljana Route is scheduled for the first two weekends in November, while the last weekend is reserved for the exclusive event the November Gourmet Finale.
