Cathay Pacific – Al Noor get creative

Cathay Pacific in partnership with Al Noor Training Centre for Persons with Disabilities initiated an interactive painting project with students of the non-profit organisation.

During the activity led by volunteers of Cathay Pacific’s Dubai-based team, students learned to use various techniques with art materials donated by the airline to create a world map painting on canvas. The map now hangs in Cathay Pacific’s Dubai office.

Cathay Pacific country manager for UAE and Oman Ashish Kapur said: “Our partnership with Al Noor has continued to flourish and now, we have an incredible piece of art by some very talented students. This initiative also reminds us how important it is to give something back to the local community.”

Earlier this year, 25 volunteers from across Cathay Pacific’s management and various departments, including Airport, Cargo, People, Finance, Sales and Engineering, supported a garage sale during Al Noor’s annual fun fair.
