Banyan Tree debuts in Malaysia

Banyan Tree Hotels & Resorts has announced the opening of Malaysia’s first Banyan Tree resort – Banyan Tree Kuala Lumpur. The new property is scheduled to open in June 2018.

Occupying the top seven floors of Banyan Tree Signatures Pavilion Kuala Lumpur building, Banyan Tree Kuala Lumpur will offer 55 rooms and suites. Most of the rooms and suites overlook the Petronas Twin Towers and Kuala Lumpur Tower.

The urban resort hosts four dining venues. The French-inspired bakery at the Arrival Lobby – Bake by Banyan Tree, sky high afternoon tea and wine lounge on the 53rd Floor – Altitude, the steakhouse on the 58th floor – Horizon Grill and the highest hotel rooftop bar in the city centre on the 59th Floor – Vertigo.

For the corporate, there are a range of facilities which includes three fully equipped boardrooms, an open-air pool and a gym. The Banyan Tree Spa offers blend of ancient health and beauty practices which have been passed down from generation to generation. The massage treatments are based on a ‘high-touch, low-tech’ approach that celebrates human touch and use of natural herbs and spices. The spa boasts four couples’ spa suites with one of which is equipped with Banyan Tree Spa’s signature innovation – the Rainmist therapy.

Al Geziry Consultancy to represent Banyan Tree Hotels

The Banyan Tree Hotels & Resorts has appointed Mohamed Al Geziry Consultancy to conduct the group’s public relations activities within the Arabian Gulf countries of Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE. The consultancy services will further strengthen the brand’s position as a preferred hotel and resort destination for travellers from the Middle East.

The appointment, made with immediate effect, is the result of Banyan Tree Hotels & Resorts’ initiative to expand its sales and awareness outreach to travellers and travel industry leaders in key strategic markets within the region.

The hotel Group currently operate 43 properties, 62 spas, 75 galleries, three golf courses in 25 destinations all over the world including premium, family resorts and city hotels, across Africa, Asia and Northern America.
