Jumeirah Group launches Zabeel House by JumeirahTM

Jumeirah Group announced the launch of Zabeel House by Jumeirah. This second brand from Jumeirah Group, which already operates the Stay Different brand, has been created in response to continuing and growing travel trend for exploration through travel experiences.

Zabeel House by Jumeirah will have a strong appeal for this increasing segment of travellers who want to connect meaningfully with their travel destinations.

With five management agreements already signed in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and United Kingdom, and a number under discussion, Jumeirah Group is creating an eclectic collection of hotels under the Zabeel House by Jumeirah brand. The core target market will be both business and leisure travellers.

Jumeirah Group currently operates 19 Jumeirah branded hotels in Europe, the Middle East and Asia.

Jumeirah Group to enter new markets in 2018

Jumeirah Group announced widespread expansion plans for 2018 which will see the brand enter three new markets and open further properties in the UAE and China.

The Group’s expansion plans will feature at least five new luxury hotel openings in addition to refurbishment and re-opening of Jumeirah Beach Hotel ahead of its 21st birthday in late 2018.

New properties include Jumeirah Royal Saray in Bahrain, Jumeirah Sa’adiyat Island in Abu Dhabi, Jumeirah Bali in Indonesia, Jumeirah Nanjing in China and Jumeirah Muscat Bay in Oman.

The expansion plans were backed by a strong performance in 2017, with an overall five percent increase in number of room nights and six percent increase in room revenues compared to 2016.  The hotel group also maintained a stable year-on-year occupancy matching the same period in 2016.  The GCC region accounted for 21% of overall occupancy throughout the year.

Raziena Cajee – Jumeirah Zabeel Saray

Raziena Cajee has been appointed as director of marketing and communications at Jumeirah Zabeel Saray.

A South African national, Cajee has over 12 years’ of corporate marketing communications experience and has been working with Jumeirah Group since May 2005.

She will work with Katja Graf, director of sales and marketing, Jumeirah Zabeel Saray, to lead and further develop the resort’s marketing and communications team across PR, marketing and partnership development.
