Across Borders Travel takes over Phoenix International

Across Borders adds to its portfolio

The concept of mergers is gaining momentum in the travel fraternity.

One of the recent players to join the game is Across Borders Travel (ABT) who have taken over the reins from Phoenix International. The acquisition will see ABT increase their client portfolio will the representation of Condor in South America and Mayfair Group of hotels in India.

As Fabian Fernandes, co-founder of Across Borders Travel says, “Our objective was to expand and increase our portfolio. This merger has paved the way for us to take on more business in the form of representations from hotels and tourism boards.”

The advantage for ABT is the three key offerings of an expanded portfolio, enhanced presence and paving the way for a new market presence in the niche luxury segment of the market. As Fernandes explains, “We have also entered into a whole new continent expanding the scope of ABT destinations in a very large and important destination of South America.”

The addition of Mayfair, a top of the line chain of hotels with properties across unique destinations in India will also add value to the agents. On the Phoenix side, Darshana Manglani, founder says, “As a company, Phoenix will benefit by upscaling its commercial value, in terms of number of offerings, expert operational support with an opportunity to grow at a faster pace.”

With all the factors well in place, Fernandes is looking to systematically increase the offerings of ‘across all borders’ globally, making the company, a one-stop shop for any query.
